Discipline Concept Development, Photography, Styling, Animation
Cooperation Hick Pix (Rendering)

The traditional swiss manufacturer Freitag asked our studio to put one of its products into focus. The only limitation from the client side was that the final outcome should be an animation. We decided to develop an idea and a concept for the so called »Miami Vice« shopping bag, using stop-motion technique to combine photography and moving image. The shape and look of this bag is inspired by the classic supermarket paper container. To underline the main function, the bags were filled with several objects, while simultaneously a range of selected colour and design-variations are introduced.

We took inspiration from the chameleon and its remarkably characteristic, changing the colour of each bag depending on its particular content.

Each bag is a unique piece manufactured from recycled truck tarpaulins. The final animation was shown throughout different media channels.
