Title | Phototriennale Hamburg |
---|---|
Year | 2014 |
Client | Deichtorhallen Hamburg |
Discipline | Concept Development, Corporate Identity |
The Deichtorhallen Hamburg commissioned I Like Birds to develop a draft for the look and feel of the 2015 Photography Triennial and the visual identity of the institution as a whole. We developed a visual logo/grid system based on the placeholder frame, the stand-in for the big, constantly changing bandwidth of a photograph to be displayed. The placeholder-frame system, which can be applied to all forms of media, makes it possible for each Triennial to have its own distinct system of symbols and fonts while at the same time connecting each Triennial to the consistent corporate identity of the institution. In the end this idea was not put into practice.
